About me
I'm Cecilia, founder of The Church Secretary.
I'm passionate about serving God's people and helping ministry leaders build, organize, and steward what God has entrusted to them. I've served in ministry for 18 years, beginning at 22 as a founding member and board Chief Executive Secretary, a role I still hold alongside Operations Management and pastoral ministry. Along the way, I've helped launch and support more than 20 ministries, church plants, nonprofits, and community initiatives, including a Bible Institute.
Before stepping into full-time ministry, I spent eight years at a Fortune 500 company as an Executive Assistant and Management Assistant, supporting C-suite leaders. That season taught me a great deal about excellence and serving behind the scenes. But ministry has taught me even more. I've missed the mark plenty of times, as I’ve grown and been blessed by the opportunity to serve.
I created The Church Secretary to share the tools, lessons, and practical support I've gained along the way, so that those serving God's people feel equipped, encouraged, and supported in their calling. My prayer is that ministry leaders are blessed, the Kingdom is advanced, and more people come to know Jesus through the way we serve.
Browse, subscribe, and stay connected as we advance the Kingdom through administration in the Church.

Called Before Qualified
I believe God often calls us before we feel fully qualified. Much of my journey has been learning, growing, and allowing Him to equip me along the way.
Over the years, He has given me opportunities to grow both spiritually and professionally, and I’m grateful for the training and experiences that have helped shape me to serve His people.
Credentials & Education
Licensed & Ordained Minister
Diploma in Theology & Christian Leadership
Certified Church Executive
Bachelor’s Degree in Government & Pre-Law, Regent University
These credentials are part of my preparation, but they are not the foundation of my calling. My greatest credential is that God called me, and I said yes.
“Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.” 2 Corinthians 3:5
